Born and raised in Chelsea, the last surviving of the 10 children of the late Stanley and Mary (Fiore) Lanzo, she attended local schools. She was employed as a waitress at the former Montvale Plaza for many years until her retirement.
A former long-time resident of Everett, Mrs. Doyle moved to Haverhill 24 years ago. She enjoyed bingo, the Lottery, scratch tickets and trips to Foxwoods.
The wife of the late Michael F. Doyle, who died in 1991, and mother of the late Deborah Parsons, who died in 2004, she is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Robert M. and Kim M. Doyle of Wilmington and Michael F. and Marie Doyle of Hawaii, daughters, Karen Carroll of Haverhill, Jacquelyn Doyle of Abu Dhabi, formerly of Plaistow, N.H. and Janice Doyle of Haverhill, also 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Park Cemetery, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
