Diane D. Shea, 54, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Stoneham, died on Tuesday, August 5 at the Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.
Born in Winchester on November 6, 1953, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Carroll) Dillon of Clearwater, FL and the late Robert E. Dillion.
Mrs. Shea was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1971. She had been a Florida resident since 1998 and was a retired administrator for Avaya Communications.
Mrs. Shea was a member of St Patrick Church in Stoneham. Her hobbies included stamping and scrapbooking and she was also very active with Friends of Strays in Florida.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, Robert E. Dillon Jr. of Latham, NY and sister, Deborah Dugan of Dublin, NH. She is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday, August 12, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10:00 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
