Joseph N. Kaivel, 96, husband of the late Eleanor G. McEachern and companion of Irene T. Olsen, died Tuesday morning August 19, 2008 at his home. Born in Lawrence, son of the late Nepolian S. and Alexandra (Tarrasavitch) Kaivel, he was raised in Haverhill and educated from St. James High School in Haverhill. He had been a resident of Lynn for over 50 years.
Joseph was employed with General Electric Co. in Lynn. He was a machinist with the company working in the Aircraft Engine Division. He was with the company for over 35 years. Joseph was a lover of all animals.
Joseph was the brother of the late Alice Grossman.
Arrangements are under the directions of the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to My Brother’s Table, 98 Willow Street, Lynn, MA 01904.
