Kelly Elaine (Nickerson) Brazzo of Revere, and formerly of Belmont, N.H., passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at the age of 49. She died at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston after a valiant three-year battle with leukemia.
Kelly was born in Portland, Maine, on April 29, 1959, to Nick and Betsy (Nason) Nickerson. She grew up in Belmont, N.H., where she graduated from Belmont High School. Kelly was a licensed cosmetologist and worked as a hair stylist which she loved doing. She later settled in Beachmont, Revere, with her loving husband Charles Brazzo.
Kelly possessed an endless love and enthusiasm for her family. Her husband, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family were the most precious things in her life next to her unwavering faith in God. She especially enjoyed spending time with her husband and the family at their camp in central Maine.
Kelly was the beloved wife of Charles Brazzo of Revere, and the loving daughter of Nick and Betsy (Nason) Nickerson of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Belmont, N.H. She was the adored sister of Kim (Nickerson) and Robert Bossey of Meredith, N.H., Kyle and Diane (Millette) Nickerson of Gilford, N.H., and Kristen (Nickerson) and Scott Jasany of Wake Forest, N.C. Kelly was a loving aunt to Margaret (Maggie) Nickerson, Kathryn (Katie) Bossey, Meagan Jasany, Michael Nickerson, Ryan Jasany, and Jon and Angela Bossey. Kelly was the dear daughter-in-law of Marie (Sarro) Brazzo of Revere, and the late Paul Brazzo.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St., (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Tuesday, July 22 at 10 a.m. Visiting hours are on Monday, July 21 from 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with Kelly being laid to rest in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park on Lake Street, Peabody, Mass. A memorial service to celebrate Kelly's life will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, at the Sanbornton Congregational Church UCC, 21 Meetinghouse Hill Road in Sanbornton, N.H.
