Loretta R. (D’Amato) Dewsnap of Malden died August 22, 2008.
She was a late member of the Spiritual Advisory Board at St. Joseph’s Church in Malden, as well as a Eucharistic minister.
She was the beloved wife of Frederick D. Dewsnap Jr.; mother of Barbara Dewsnap of Saugus, Paul Dewsnap of Peabody, Karen Demotses of North Andover, Stephen Dewsnap of Saugus, Laura Farry of Malden and Michele Frazer of Wilmington; sister of Vincent D’Amato of Winthrop, Lucy Maribito of Malden, Pasquale D’Amato of Saugus, Gerado D’Amato of Melrose, Claire Hastings of Florida, Joanne Nardelli of Peabody, and the late Anna Amerena and James D’Amato; and grandmother of eight.
A funeral will be held Tuesday, August 26, at 9 a.m. from Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 790 Salem St., Malden. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
