Stephen C. Shaw, 57 of Salem , VA passed away Wednesday, January 09, 2008. He was born April 14, 1950 in Malden , MA son of Marion W. Shaw of Maryland , and Arnie Shaw of Maine. Steve was a retired Respiratory Therapist from the VA Hospital, Salem . In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife, Joan Williams Shaw; step-daughter and spouse, Trish and Mark Swain; grandchildren, Travis and Samantha Swain and beloved cats, Buttons and Spot. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. There will be no visitation. John M. Oakey and Son, Salem is in charge of the arrangements.
