Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, located at 185 Lake Street in West Peabody, has announced its schedule of events for Memorial Day weekend:

 Sunday May 25th

·         Memorial Day Service                                  11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

During the Memorial Day weekend, from Wednesday, May 21 through Monday, May 26, we will be host to 8-10,000 people visiting our park.

Extended visiting hours will be observed throughout the weekend. Gates will be open to vehicular traffic from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. An information booth will be placed at the Veteran's Flag circle and will be staffed througout the weekend. Additonal cemetery staff will be on hand to assist visitors in locating individual gravesites.

U.S. military veterans will be honored throughout the weekend with the annual Boulevard of Flags display that includes 50 U.S. casket flags donated for display by family members.  The 50 U.S. Veteran flags will be proudly flown along Pierce Boulevard beginning Thursday May 22th.

All Veterans should be honored by placing their names, branch of service, and conflict or dates of service. Your input will be needed to insure that all who have served are placed on this board. 

Smaller U.S. flags and flower arrangements for placement on individual graves are currently available by phone (978)-535-3660 and will continue to be offered throughout the Memorial Day weekend.
