Update Remembrance

Claudia Ann (Jones) Castillo, 77, of Clinton, MA, passed on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Claudia was born and raised in Lynn, MA. She was the daughter of James Jones and Anna May (Smith) Jones.

Claudia is survived by her only daughter Patricia McCulley, her grandchildren Isis, Douglas & Eloisa Elston, Selena, Anthony and their father Anthony Jackson Sr., and her great-grandson Roman Langley. Claudia also leaves behind her sisters Lorene Doumanian, Patricia Jones, sister-in-law Joann Sanchez and mother-in-law Shirley Castillo of Belen, NM, and a plethora of nieces & nephews. Claudia is preceded by her husband Elias Castillo, her parents James & Anna Jones, her brothers Herbert, James (Archie), and Wally Jones, as well as her mother-in-law Esther Sanchez, and her brother-in-law Michael Castillo.

Claudia loved life. She worked for many years in the Lynn Shoe factories. She retired from Young & Company, where she did the sowing of the flags. Claudia spent her last years with her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed going out shopping and dining. She loved her two cats Mike and Molly, watching movies and shows with her Grandchildren.

She was a very happy, optimistic, and loving person. Claudia meant the world to her family, and she was always the person to go to whenever there was an issue. She would always have your back, and liked to keep positive vibes, no matter the situation. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who ever lived, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Forever and always in our hearts, Gram.

Post Tribute

It's so hard for everyone without you. But we're all doing our best to keep strong and move on, because I know you're still within us, pushing us along. Even through the hard parts. ESPECIALLY the hard parts. You were the best grandma anyone could ask for. You spoiled us, loved us, despite the possible hard times we may have given you. I know how much you loved us, as much as you know how much we loved you. I'll miss watching movies and TV shows with you. Getting you treats and candy I knew you shouldn't have. Listening to you talk about your memories and how you saw the world become what it is today. I'll try and be everyone's rock for you, especially for Mommy. I'll try and be there for her like you were for her.

Love you, Gram.

Always have, always will...
